DOCUMENTS: The Spendlove Deeds

The Spendlove family which has been living in the area for many years, from at least from the 15th century, had a part to play in the Hutfall Field land and the area into which I was researching. The Spendloves intermarried with the Stathams (who owned Shortlands in 1788) and also the Gratians and others connected to the property.

For a more extensive look at the Spendloves, please see a specialist website on the LINKS page.
